The 2026 Colorado Guardianship Association (CGA) Speaker Series is a community resource to assist professionals and family guardians who assist vulnerable adults. This six-part speaker series will bring together experts on emerging topics in the field of elder law. conservatorship, guardianship, and related areas of interest. Meeting topics may change throughout the year due to unforeseen occurrences.
TOPIC: CGA: Assisting Older Adults; How Cognitive Decline Affects Financial Decision Making
CGA members and community partners from all disciplines are welcome to attend these educational events.
Dr. Eric Chess is a physician, lawyer and professor with a focus on prevention, comprehensive well-being, financial security and older adults. He has over a decade of experience in internal medicine practice (board certified), as a hospitalist and as an outpatient physician. He is currently a Clinical Professor at the University of Denver’s Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging, serving as the founder and director of Aging and Well-being.
