This presentation will focus on those final provisions becoming effective later this year, which will include changes to Short Term Certification, a separate and distinct section for Outpatient Certification, a new pathway to certification for justice-involved persons who qualify for inpatient treatment, a new standard for termination of proceedings, and the rights and privileges of Respondents and Lay Persons.
